Raigambre

I built an interactive family tree generator, available at Raigambre. It lets anyone create their own genealogy directly in the browser: you add people, define kinships, and the tool computes the relationships, lays out the generations automatically and styles each card according to its historical era — from medieval parchment and colonial guardas to modern gradients, including special designs for indigenous lineages, mythical and sacred figures.
The diagram is rendered as a fully interactive SVG with zoom, pan, search and filters by relationship type (direct, by marriage, collateral, indirect and provisional). The editor panel supports quick-add, drag-to-link and a per-person detail sheet, and everything is stored in localStorage, so no account or server is needed — the data never leaves the user’s browser. Built with Astro and React islands, nanostores for state management and a custom layout engine written in TypeScript.
